MSAKHAN ROLLS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of shredded chicken

  • 2 Tbsp Sumac

  • ½ onion

  • 1-2Tbsp olive oil

  • 2 big Markook bread or you can use small tortillas

  • water for boiling chicken

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • ½ tsp All Spice

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • In pan on the stove place the washed chicken (1-2 chicken breast cut up into cubes), put salt and pepper and a drizzle of oil. fry them and let them cook for about 15 minutes, mixing often.

  • Cut onion in to tiny pieces, and fry in another pan with a drizzle of oil.

  • Add water to the chicken and let it cook on low heat for about 20-30 minutes.

  • Once chicken is cooked. Remove the water, and shred the chicken with your hands.

  • Add the chicken to the cooked onion. Add the Sumac and mix well.

  • Cut the bread into large squares. place a spoon of the chicken mix in each and roll like a spring roll. Place in an oven save pan. bake for about 15 minutes.
